The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is Alabama’s largest airport serving the Greater Birmingham area and surrounding Southeastern cities. Offering more than 120 daily flights to over 25 cities throughout the United States, Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) presently ranks in the country’s top 75 airports in terms of passengers served annually. BHM served over 2.9 million passengers in 2009. All major airline carriers have connections to BHM airport.

The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is located approximately 60 miles (100 kilometers) from Tuscaloosa.

The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (Georgia) International Airport is approximately 200 miles (320 kilometers) east of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. If conference participants choose to fly into the Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia, the driving time to Tuscaloosa is approximately three hours.
