Getting Started
You can enhance job performance and career advancement by taking high quality training programs offered by the College of Continuing Studies. Choose to take a single course, attend a conference or enroll in a certificate program which awards you a certificate of completion issued by The University of Alabama. There is no application process necessary, simply select your area of interest and then register online, by phone, by fax (1-205-348-6614) or by mail:

Professional Development & Training
Step One: Choose a Program.
- Review the selection of Professional Development options.
- Read in detail about the many different areas of training by clicking here.
- Peruse the list of certificate programs by clicking here.
- Consider attending at least one conference per year to refresh your training skills: view conferences here.
Step Two: Register.
- Once you’ve made your selection click from that screen to the registration panel.
- By clicking the registration button on the course description screen you will see exact dates, costs, etc.
- You may use American Express, MasterCard, VISA or Discover to make payment either online or by phone at 1-800-348-3000.
- After you complete these two easy steps a registration confirmation will follow.
It’s that easy.
