General Information for ACHIEVE 2nd Annual Alabama Transfer Student Success Conference
The registration fee for this event is $75 if received before February 1, 2020. After February 1, 2020 the fee will increase to $100 per person. The fees include all handout materials, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks. Registration closes on March 1, 2020.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations received less than two weeks prior to the sessions are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Refunds will not be granted after the program has begun. A substitute participant may be designated in place of a registrant who cannot attend. The University of Alabama reserves the right to cancel, post-pone or combine class sections; to limit registration; or to change instructors. Any money-back guarantee offered on specific programs does not necessarily apply to other programs of The University of Alabama College of Continuing Studies.

The ACHIEVE Conference will be held at the Bryant Conference Center, a premier learning facility located at 240 Paul W. Bryant Drive on The University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa.
From I-20/59, take the McFarland Boulevard/US 82 exit and proceed north to the University Boulevard interchange. Exit and turn right. Stay on University Boulevard down the hill and turn left on Second Avenue. Open parking will be on your left in the new Crimson Parking Deck located at 921 2nd Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. The Bryant Conference Center complex is just across 2nd avenue. You will receive a parking permit via email from our Registration Services department. It is very important that you have this permit available (either printed or digitally) as you must scan the provided bar code to enter the parking deck. If you do not receive your parking permit, please call 205-348-3000.
The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is Alabama's largest airport serving the Greater Birmingham area and surrounding Southeastern cities. Offering more than 120 daily flights to over 25 cities throughout the United States, Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) presently ranks in the country's top 75 airports in terms of passengers served annually. BHM served over 2.9 million passengers in 2009. All major airline carriers have connections to BHM airport. The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is located approximately 60 miles (100 kilometers) from Tuscaloosa. If conference participants choose to rent a car, the following companies offer rental cars at the Birmingham Airport: Alamo, AVIS, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (Georgia) International Airport is approximately 200 miles (320 kilometers) east of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. If conference participants choose to fly into the Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia, the driving time to Tuscaloosa is approximately three hours.
Certificates will be awarded at the end of the program based on your attendance. Partial credit will not be issued, and certificates will not be awarded early.
