Building Communication in ASD by Strengthening Skills and Systems
Scholarships are available through the Autism Society of Alabama (ASA). Scholarships cover registration fees only. Applications are given priority based on membership status in the Autism Society of Alabama, date of receipt, and previous scholarship award. The conference is designed to transfer the very latest research regarding diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and provides an overview of common challenges in working with individuals with ASD.
The Alabama Council for Developmental Disabilities (ACDD) offers scholarships for parents and caregivers through the Consumer Involvement Fund (CIF). Up to $500 per year, per person is available for in-state conferences ($1200 for out-of-state events).
CIF scholarships may cover registration fees, childcare, personal assistance, lodging, meals, transportation and other preapproved needs.
CIF applications for this conference are due January 11, 2019.
Before completing ASA's scholarship application, please consider applying for the Consumer Involvement Fund scholarship if you are a parent or caregiver.

The ASA will register scholarship award recipients. If you are notified that a scholarship is not available, please register through The University of Alabama, College of Continuing Studies at 205-348-3000 or at autism.ua.edu.
ASA Scholarship Application Deadline is Wednesday, February 6. All ASA scholarship applicants will receive notice of their application status by Tuesday, February 12.
