REACTS is an acronym: Recognizing the Effects of and Approaches to Childhood Trauma Summit. This conference seeks to involve community members, professionals, educators, policy makers, and other individuals in recognizing and responding to the needs of children and adolescents affected by traumatic events like natural disasters, family troubles, community violence, and so on. This year our focus is on innovative trauma interventions for all kinds of children/youth. Our goal is for conference attendees to leave with knowledge and skills enabling them to identify innovative responses and take next steps to enhance support of trauma-affected children and adolescents in our community.
The Recognizing the Effects of and Approaches to Childhood Trauma Summit will be held March 29, 2019 at the Bryant Conference Center located on The University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa, AL.
