OLIS is a space for educators at UA and from across the state to share best practices, new strategies and innovative methods for enhancing student experiences in the classroom. Online pedagogy and course development remains a primary focus; however, the University of Alabama Teaching Academy encourages and welcomes proposals geared toward instructional enhancements in the traditional classroom setting. This professional development conference is a great opportunity to give a presentation, workshop or demonstration or to get feedback on an idea in progress.
The 2025 summit will take place Friday, February 14, at Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The theme is: “Let’s Get Engaged! Make a Commitment to Transformative Teaching.”
Call for Proposals
- Please be prepared to submit presenter/co-presenter contact information, a brief biography, the proposed session title, a short description and at least one learning objective.
- If you are submitting multiple topic proposals, please submit the form for each proposed topic.
