
Department of HR Supervisors Conference
The Alabama DHR Supervisors Conference is presented annually to update employees on current policies and best practices.
Conference Overview
DHR offers this training twice in order for supervisory staff attendance to be divided between the conferences. Half of the supervisors from each county should attend in June, and the other half attend in July.

Who Should Attend
The conference is designed for State of Alabama Department of Child Welfare Supervisors. There will be a variety of breakout sessions featuring topics such as team building, safety, recruitment and permanency. The program is designed specifically for supervisors to help support best practices and the implementation of the State Program Improvement Plan (PIP).
Social Workers will receive CE credits from the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners.

Cancellation Policy
A cancellation charge of 100% of the registration fee will be assessed on cancellations occurring within seven (7) days of the start of this session. Refunds will not be granted after the program has begun. The University of Alabama reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or combine class sections, to limit registration, or to change instructors.
