The University of Alabama works closely with municipalities to provide training for Municipal Clerks, Revenue Officers and employees with financial responsibilities. The curriculum for each program is developed in partnership with the Alabama League of Municipalities and:
Alabama Association of Municipal Clerks and Administrators (AAMCA) for the Certified Municipal Clerk Institute (CMC) and Master Municipal Clerk Academy (MMC)
Alabama Municipal Revenue Officers Association (AMROA) for the Alabama Municipal Revenue Officers Training and Maintenance Institute
Government Finance Officers Association of Alabama (GFOAA) for the Certified Governmental Accounting Technician (CGAT) program
