The School of Social Work Continuing Education (CE) Program is dedicated to meeting the continuing education needs of social work professionals in Alabama and beyond. Our CE program is designed to offer participants a rigorous array of timely and relevant interdisciplinary courses in social work that bear the UA stamp of excellence. CE course offerings include:

  • psychopharmacology for social workers
  • military families and ethics


CE online and on-campus courses are taught by highly qualified social work faculty and workshop presenters from across the nation who are recognized as leaders in their fields. Through the program, social work professionals can:
