Leroy Hurt is an alumnus of West Point where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management. He has also earned Master's degrees from the University of Washington, Regis University, and California University of Pennsylvania. He holds the professional designations of Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT). Throughout the year, he manages our Online Career Training Programs and the Project Management Academy with supplemental courses. He also facilitates and directs the college's focus in community engagement.
Associate Dean, Administrative and Conference Services
Amanda Bergeron is an alumna of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration. She also holds the designation of Certified Program Planner (CPP) and Certified Virtual Meeting Planner (CVP) from the Learning Resources Network (LERN). Throughout the year, Amanda manages the Alabama Community College Leadership Academy, the Alabama Association of School Business Officials certification programs and conferences, the ADHD conference, Aging Successfully conference, the Grief and Bereavement seminar, the College Board's Advanced Placement Institute, the Autism conference, Doing What Matters for Alabama's Children conference, the UA Faculty Institute, Leadership U, and the UA Systems Scholars Institute.
Judy Hand manages the Alabama Mining Institute, the Human Resource Management conference, the Management Certificate Program for Supervisors, the Master Management Certificate Program, the Reading Institute for Children and Adults, the Training and Development Certificate Program, and the Workplace Coaching Academy. Judy also handles custom private training in the areas of human resources and customer service.
Brenda H. Truelove is an alumna of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master's degree in Health Studies. Throughout the year, Brenda manages the Alabama Automotive Manufacturing Association conference, the Cisco Network Academy, the Maintenance Management Certificate Program, and the Supply Chain and Logistics Management Certificate Program.
Associate Program Manager
Brandie Nabors is an alumna of Mississippi State University and The University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's degree, respectively. She is also Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Brandie manages our training programs that have a focus on finance and government. Throughout the year she manages the Alabama City/County Management Association winter and summer conferences, the Alabama Institute on Federal Taxation, the Certified Governmental Accounting Technician program, the Federal Tax Clinic, Alabama Insurance Day, the Alabama Municipal Clerks Certification and Training Institute, the Alabama Municipal Revenue Officers Certification Training Institute, and the Right of Way conference.
