Andrew Norman
Andrew Norman has over thirty-five years of experience in the manufacturing industry as a lubrication specialist and manufacturing engineer, college instructor, heavy equipment superintendent, diesel propulsion systems expert, maintenance consultant, and mechanical equipment expert. He has extensive experience in lubrication, maintenance and reliability, manufacturing processes, root cause analysis, process documentation, plant management, maintenance planning and scheduling, and all phases of industrial asset management. Andrew brings a wealth of mechanical maintenance experience and knowledge from manufacturing processes to maintenance execution. His 35 years of manufacturing and maintenance experience at all levels provides a well-rounded expert in the areas of maintenance training, maintenance implementation, maintenance management, and process documentation. He is a PROSCI-certified change management professional. He is also an SME-certified Manufacturing Engineering Technologist, a Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, and was an ASE-certified Master Mechanic in three separate areas; automotive, heavy-duty trucks, and automotive machining.
Program Manager:
Mary Patterson works in the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education at The University of Alabama as Program Manager, where she assists the OTIDE team in designing and implementing professional development and training programs, industrial training programs, and executive education programs. She is a certified public accountant, as well as a certified professional in the Society for Human Resources Management. She works closely with HR departments to design custom training to enhance work objectives, increase productivity and build a positive culture.
