Brandi J. Rudolph Bolling, M.D.

Brandi Bolling MD

 

Dr. Bolling is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as both an adult and child and adolescent psychiatrist, and by the American Board of Pediatrics as a pediatrician. Currently she serves as the Medical Director and child and adolescent psychiatrist at Rudolph Bolling Psychiatrist, P.C. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders in acute, residential, ambulatory, inpatient, and telehealth settings.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Rudolph-Bolling was educated in Birmingham City Schools. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University and Doctor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College. She completed a Triple Board residency program at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN, training simultaneously in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry. Through the Triple Board Program she reached her ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician, and gained the expertise to help children and adults maintain their mental health.

Dr. Rudolph Bolling’s private practice includes the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. Her special interests include autism spectrum disorders; childhood obesity and its relation to and effect on mood; bullying; and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She believes in the careful integration of the fields of neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, child development, and education to develop treatments to meet biological, psychological, and social needs.

 

Peter S. Jensen, M.D., Board Chair & Founder, The REACH Institute

Peter Jensen headshotDr. Jensen is the Board Chair of the REACH Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization he founded in 2006. From 1989-2000 he served at the National Institute of Mental Health as the Associate Director for Child & Adolescent Mental Health Research. He then moved to Columbia University to assume an endowed professorship in the Department of Psychiatry, where he directed the Center for the Advancement of Children’s Mental Health. Leaving New York in 2009 he joined Mayo Clinic’s Department of Psychiatry & Psychology to lead the Division of Child Psychiatry & Psychology, eventually becoming the Vice-Chair of the Department (Research). In 2014 he was appointed Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, moving to Adjunct Professor in 2018.

Dr. Jensen was the lead NIMH investigator on the Multimodal Treatment of ADHD study (MTA) and served on other multi-site NIMH national studies. He has held many national offices, including President of the International Society for Research on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Secretary and Council Member (American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry), and as member of CHADD’s Board and Scientific Advisory Board.

Dr. Jensen has authored/edited over 300 peer reviewed articles and chapters and multiple books. He has received many national awards for research and teaching from prominent US organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the Society for Child Psychiatric Nursing, NAMI, the Hall of Fame award from CHADD, and most recently (in 2023), the Purpose Prize Award from AARP.

In 2006 Dr. Jensen founded the national non-profit, the REACH Institute, an organization dedicated to ensuring that the most effective, scientifically proven mental health care reaches all children and families. Since its founding, REACH has provided thousands of primary care providers, therapists, and healthcare institutions with hands-on training in the best evidence-based therapies needed to better diagnose, treat, and manage child and adult mental health issues.
