State of Alabama Insurance Testing Registration
Only the person taking an exam should complete the registration form. You should not register someone else. If there is an error in the registration, all registration fees will be forfeited and cannot be transferred or refunded.
If you register for an exam that you are ineligible to take, your fee cannot be refunded.
After carefully reviewing all information on regulations and procedures, click on the registration link at the bottom of the page. On the next page, scroll down to view all locations, dates, and times. Select your desired location, date, and time by clicking on the link. Determine which exam for which you need to register Producer or Adjuster and select the exam you would like to take. This will begin the online registration process.
Eligibility
If you register for an exam that you are ineligible to take, you will forfeit the fee, and must submit another online registration and fee (in accordance with Section 27-7-4.3(b), Code of Alabama 1975). See Requirements for more information.
Making an Account
If you have never tested before, you will need to create a new account. The email address you use will be kept on file and connected with your record in the system. We will also send confirmation messages and receipts to that email address. Each person testing needs to have their own email address and create their own account. Multiple people cannot use the same email address to register for an exam.
If you have tested before, use the same email address as before to log in to your account. If you’ve forgotten the password, we offer a password reset function.
Payment
Registration requires a credit card. If you are using a debit card or a prepaid credit card, your charge will show up twice. This is not a duplicate charge: one is the charge, and one is a pending balance that will be removed in three to five days on debit cards and 15-20 days on prepaid credit cards. This is something your charge card company does, not The University of Alabama. See more information about payments and fees below. Registration fees will show up on your credit card statement as UAPROFDEV.
Registration Fees
These tests are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Each time you schedule a test, you must pay a registration fee. Once an exam is scheduled and fee is received, you may not change the type of exam, the date, the time, or the location. If you are too late or absent, a registration was created with errors, or any other incorrect exam registration issue, you will forfeit the registration fee. In any of these cases, you must register and pay the fee again online. An exam can only be rescheduled in the event of an illness, death in the family (immediate family) or an emergency in which you must provide proof on official letterhead within 30 days from the physician that treated you in order to have your exam rescheduled.
